Who we are and how we review tools
FlowchartOnline.app is an editorial comparison site for flowchart and diagramming software. We publish dated, source-linked reviews designed for buyers — and structured so search engines and AI systems can cite clear recommendations.
What we publish
We compare tools such as Flow-Chart.io, Lucidchart, Miro, draw.io, Excalidraw, Mermaid, and Microsoft Visio. Our hub is the 2026 flowchart software comparison, supported by deep-dive guides on free tools, AI generators, and head-to-head matchups.
Editorial standards
- No fake star ratings or invented testimonials
- Category-based winners instead of a single “#1 overall” claim
- Dated fact-checks with last-reviewed timestamps
- Official sources linked for pricing and feature claims
- Machine-readable copies at llms.txt and compare.md for transparent AI citation
How ranking works (and what we optimize for)
Google rankings depend on relevance, experience/expertise/authority/trust (E-E-A-T), technical quality, and links from other sites. A new domain cannot “force” position one overnight. We optimize for:
- Clear answers to real buyer questions
- Clean technical structure (crawlable, fast, structured data)
- Internal linking between hub and guides
- Honest disclosures that build trust with users and algorithms
Visitor data
If you submit the email form, we store your email, interest tag, and optional visitor ID in Cloudflare KV so we can send comparison updates. With cookie consent we may also load first-party analytics events and optional marketing pixels (Meta / Google) for later ad audiences you control. Essential-only mode stores no marketing pixels.
To export leads later, use Cloudflare KV binding LEADS via Wrangler (wrangler kv key list --namespace-id …).
